Achtung: "DxO Optics Pro" läuft nicht auf "Snow Leopard"

Für alle DxO-Mac-User, die den Umstieg auf "Snow Leopard" (MacOS X 10.6) erwägen: Finger weg. Die Software funktioniert auf "Snow Leopard" so gut wie gar nicht. Der "Auswählen" ("Select") Tab ist komplett defekt, so daß weder Projekte noch Files in "DxO Optics Pro" verwaltet werden können. Der einzige Workaround ist derzeit, die Bilder in den "Film Strip" zu ziehen und dann zu konvertieren. Die Settings werden allerdings nicht gespeichert.

Der Support: "...we have noted that DXO v5 is not fully fuctional on this platform (Snow Leopard). Users may experience unexpected behaviors under the "Select" tab.
If you have determined that you must use Snow Leopoard with v5 we recommend that you not use the "Select" tab function but rather browse to find the images you wish to process and with your mouse click/drag them from the folders in which they reside into the filmstrip.
Further investigation will be performed as soon as we receive the final release of Snow Leopard"

Also hoffentlich nur eine Frage der Zeit, bis dieses unnötige Problem behoben ist.

Es ist uns ein Rätsel, wie eine so hervorragende Software ein derart fragiles Interface haben kann. Vielleicht sollten die Entwickler sich endlich mal mit Apple Empfehlungen und Guidelines auseinandersetzen.
