"The introduction of Adobe AIR opens many doors to those who have been developing in technologies such as Adobe Flex, Adobe Flash, HTML, and JavaScript to create desktop applications using a technology that they are familiar with. This article focuses on taking a Flex application and deploying it as an Adobe AIR application to the desktop. The new application will add some features specific to Adobe AIR but will also continue to share parts of the original Flex application."
