Gerüchteküche: Apples "WebObjects" soll Open Source werden

Apple plant offenbar, seine Java-basierende Server-Software "WebObjects 5.4" (die unter anderem in Apples "iTunes Music Store" eingesetzt wird)als Open Source Projekt zu etablieren. Das berichtet jedenfalls die Online-Gerüchteküche "ThinkSecret" am 25. August.

Dazu "ThinkSecret":
"Apple hinted at its intentions to open source part of WebObjects 5.4 at private sessions during the company's Worldwide Developer's Conference. A public announcement of Version 5.4 is expected after Leopard ships."
